The challenge

A review email gets clicked away.

Asking for reviews by email doesn’t achieve much: the email lands among a hundred others and gets clicked away.

What happened

A card after every installation, each quarter.

Customers who’d just had screens or roller shutters fitted received a written A5 card with a QR code that took them straight to the Google review form. The customer list came from Exact every quarter.

After the first round, the campaign was repeated the following quarter and extended to a second branch.

The results

72 of the 257 recipients scanned.

72 of the 257 recipients scanned the QR code (28%), with 166 scans between them. The first scan came three days after sending, scans peaked on day five and the last one came 243 days later.

The second campaign, to 49 customers of the second branch, reached 20%. A scan isn’t a posted review: the 28% refers to customers who opened the review form.
