A new customer deserves more than an automated welcome email.

After an order, a sign-up or the start of a partnership, there’s usually a string of automated emails. Practical, but they don’t set you apart. A pen-written card gives new customers a welcome that stands out, without anyone in your organisation having to do anything each time.

Your welcome is in there somewhere, among all the automated emails.

The difference

A genuinely handwritten card makes your welcome special.

An automated email is gone in no time. A card written with a real pen stands out and earns its spot on the table or desk. So every new customer gets a welcome they can hold, even if you’re welcoming dozens or hundreds of new customers a day.

So your first impression is one that stays on the table, rather than a confirmation email. Not a handwriting font, but real ink on paper.

What you write

Every organisation, its own welcome.

A welcome card doesn’t always need a QR code: showing appreciation often matters more than prompting a next step. The labels show the sender’s sector and the moment.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about onboarding.

Can’t find your question? Jacqueline will be happy to help you personally. 0342 781 008 info@lightr.nl See all FAQs
Can every recipient get a different text?

Yes. Every card can have its own text, not just a different first name. You add the text for each recipient through your list or integration.

Can I use my own handwriting?

Yes. Having your own handwriting digitised is a one-off €100 if it’s also made available to other users, or €400 if it’s for your use only, excluding VAT. You’ll then receive the writing files by email.

How much text fits on a card?

Up to 250 characters on an A6 postcard, 350 on a folded A6, 450 on an A5, 400 on a square card, 550 on a flat or folded A5, and 900 on an A4 letter.

How quickly does the card arrive?

Orders of fewer than 2,500 cards are dispatched within two to three working days and delivered by post within seven days of purchase. For larger quantities, you’ll see the current schedule in the platform.

What is the minimum number of cards I need to send?

You can start with a single card. Activating an account is free and needs no credit card; you pay per mailing.

What happens to my customers’ data?

The data is stored in the Netherlands. You set the retention period yourself, with a minimum of twenty days. After that, personal data is anonymised. Want to change the retention period? Just get in touch.
