Software companyLead generation
Test what works first. Then scale up in a focused way.
A software company wanted to reach business owners with a card written with a real pen, but without sending a large campaign straight away. So they tested different messages first. The insights from that test formed the basis for a larger roll-out.
Which message resonates with your audience?
Business owners receive sales messages every day. The software company wanted to create a fresh moment of contact with a card written with a real pen.
But which message would spark the most interest? Instead of sending a large campaign straight away, the company decided to test different variants first.
Start small, compare results and scale up.
Using Lightr, different card variants were sent to a selected group of potential customers. Each card carried a measurable QR code, so you could see which variant generated the most scans.
Those first results led to a larger follow-up campaign. We’re happy to talk you through the exact test set-up, messages and audience selection on a call.
The most scanned test variant stayed out in front in the roll-out too.
In the test, the most scanned variant reached a QR scan rate of 10.2%. In the larger roll-out it was 8.0%, and there too this variant scored highest of the messages tested.
These are QR scans: who scanned the card. They are not enquiries or new customers.
The insight
You don’t need to send thousands of cards straight away to find out which message lands. By testing variants first, you gather insights that help you target a follow-up campaign more precisely. A test gives you direction, not a guarantee.
