Your customers already know you. So why aren’t they ordering again?
Maybe they don’t need you any more. Maybe they’ve forgotten about you. Or maybe they’re ordering somewhere else now. Without a new moment of contact, you often never find out.
- Out of sight. Your brand gets lost among all the other messages and suppliers.
- No next purchase. One order doesn’t automatically turn into a second or third.
- No clarity. You can see customers staying away, but often don’t know why.
- A fresh moment of contact outside the inbox, with a clear reason to come back.

It gives past customers an extra moment of contact, inviting them to get to know you again.

When is a customer dormant?
That’s up to you, based on your own customer data. For example, a customer who hasn’t ordered for longer than they usually would.
When do you send a card?
As soon as a customer has been away longer than you’d expect, or just before a product is likely to run out. Start with one group and test which moment works best.
Can I send automatically based on the last purchase date?
Yes. If your online shop or CRM can send a webhook when something happens, that webhook starts the card automatically. You decide in your own system when a customer qualifies.
How do I know whether a customer orders again?
Lightr measures who scans the QR code. Whether they go on to order is something you see in your own online shop or CRM, for example through a discount code per campaign.
What data do I need?
The customer’s name and address. To make the text more personal, send extra fields along with it, such as a product or the date of their last order.
What happens to my customers’ data?
The data is stored in the Netherlands. You set the retention period yourself, with a minimum of twenty days. After that, personal data is anonymised. Want to change the retention period? Just get in touch.
